I’ve been playing a lot more solo sessions, and I didn’t want to clog this place up. Plus, I just wanted to experiment with something different.

So in April, my spinoff blog Solo Skald launched. So far, I’ve played campaigns of Blades in the Dark as well as Scum & Villainy, a solo adventure with Call of Cthulhu, and experimented with both Starforged and (currently) Wanderhome.
I mix in-world fiction and game mechanics pretty liberally. In a typical paragraph, I might mix in die rolls that determine the results of an action with a description of what my character is thinking and even rolling on an oracle or random table. Sometimes in the same sentence!
Anyway, I literally have zero analytics or trackers or even analytics of any sort. It’s just a thing I do for fun without the temptation of looking at pointless stats.
I love this idea! I can’t find a way to follow the new blog though… I’d love to get updates when new posts go live.
